    If you worked downtown for Verizon, Con Ed, or Time Warner during and the months after September 11th 2001, you may have received an important message in the mail regarding your eligibility for 09/11 assistance.     Can I Amend My VCF Claim to Add a New Condition If I’ve Already Received an Award?

    Not all 9/11-related illnesses and medical conditions make themselves known at the same time. Years can go by between the diagnosis of one condition and the diagnosis of a separate 9/11 illness or cancer.     Two-Year Deadline for 9/11 Cancer Compensation Claims – But Two Years from When?

    Cancer can strike anyone at any time. But for survivors, first responders, and recovery workers who were present at the World Trade Center and in Lower Manhattan on and in the days after the September 11th attacks, cancer is an even greater risk. The World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) has identified over 68 kinds of cancers related to the toxic dust that arose from the rubble after the Towers collapsed.
